Prajeeta Karki, the president of Sath Sathai, emphasized the organization's long-standing tradition of observing International Women's Day at Kalapaththar for the past three years, under the theme of "Women United for Climate Change."

A group of 25 women from various sectors will commence their journey from Kathmandu on February 29, traveling to Lukla before engaging in meaningful interactions with local representatives and communities at Syangboche on March 2.

Finally, on March 8, they will reach the majestic destination of Kalapaththar, where their presence will captivate the attention of the national and international communities, shedding light on the adverse impacts of climate change on the local community, agriculture, and tourism.
